Home to many concerts, plays, musicals, stand-up comedians and performing artists, the Van Wezel is a revered cultural landmark to the Gulfcoast area. The Van Wezel was looking for a fresh approach to the design of its multiple catalogs, brochures and direct mailers published throughout the performance season.
We not only gave the publications an artistic and elegant new look, but re-organized the catalog listings in a simple format, provided color-coding to quickly locate various genres of interest, and developed a tagging system to easily find a performance and order tickets. We included an idea for outdoor banners to showcase some of the most popular events to increase their visibility and build excitment.
